Mrs. Rosado’s Philosophy of Education
I believe that students are capable of so much. They just need to have opportunities to express themselves and gain confidence in their abilities. The world is a wonderful place and my students will contribute to society in the near future and it is my goal to help prepare them for that success.
I have been fortunate to be able to travel across the United States and Canada. I have seen many amazing things and met people who are inspiring. I cannot take my students to those locations, but I can provide information on my experiences, provide opportunities to learn about different places and people through activities within my class. We are all part of the global world and I want my students to be a positive force in the world.
I often tell my students that ten or twenty years from now I want to see them on television or the internet inventing something new, giving money back to less fortunate, making a difference. I will then know that I was successful in my career.
Mrs. Rosado's Educational Background
I attended Banting Elementary School where I was a student in Ms. McClaren’s third grade class. It was in her class that I developed my love of reading when she read, Little House on the Prairie to us after lunch each day. This was the book that my parents said started me on my path to loving the school and public library and becoming a Media Specialist.
